What Is Scalp Micropigmentation?
The scalp micropigmentation procedure is a cosmetic treatment that uses tiny needles to deposit pigment into the scalp, creating the appearance of individual hairs. It is often used to cover bald patches or thinning hair, and can also be used to disguise scarring.

When can I wash my head after scalp micropigmentation?
You may feel that you need to wash your head after the scalp micropigmentation session but don’t do it. The treatment area is sensitive and it is not recommended to wash the scalp in the first three days. Also, avoid swimming. The chlorine and shampooing of the treatment area can ruin the SMP result.
Do not use harsh shampoo or other hair and skin products on the treatment area at least for a week after treatment.
In the first week after SMP treatment, it is better to avoid any physical effort such as going to the gym or jogging that can make you sweat. It can prolong your skin healing process. After three days, gently wash your scalp with warm water and do not scrub the scalp or exfoliate.
